BioI could tell you about my profession, but that wouldn't tell you much about _me_ as a person. I could tell you about things I like, but you'd remain at the periphery of my personality. You might get closer if I told you about things I do ('cuz some say you are what you do), but that still sounds to me like a cop out.
So instead I'll tell you about my flaws. I think we are truly defined by our flaws, and by the interactions of those flaws.
* I procrastinate. Why do today what someone else can do for you tomorrow?
* I am lazy. That goes with the first statement, but it also leads to one of my qualities: I am efficient. I don't like sloppy work or having to do the same thing twice. TOTALLY drives me nuts.
* I am rigid. Not physically (though you could make a case about that) or even intellectually--just socially. I don't tolerate certain types of people or conducts, and I would rather eradicate these things from my life than have to deal with them.
* I am a racist. Then again, aren't we all? Mind you, I am half-tempted to argue that it's in fact a quality that's allowed us to form thriving communities throughout human history.
* I am insecure. Again, aren't we all? I never feel I'm good enough at what I do and it takes me a great deal of effort to make sure that nobody notices. :)
* I am callous. I haven't suffered enough in my life to have developed empathy. I doubt many people in North America have, not in the deep, true sense of the word.
* I am impatient. Things always take too long to happen the way I'd like them to happen. In my ideal world, everything would happen now, as I need it, including profound personal changes.
Well, that's all I can think of for now. For those who managed to get through this and still ARE curious about what I do for a living, here's a more "standard" bio:
Currently, I work as a GBA Lead Game Designer at A2M, a Montreal-based company. Prior to that, I worked at Vircom Interactive on MMORPGs (Lead Designer, again). Prior to that, I was Senior Editor at Dream Pod 9, a pen & paper RPG company. I speak French & English (duh!), enjoy all sorts of games, movies, and books. Other hobbies of interest: whitewater kayaking, salsa dancing (that's where all the CHICKS are! ;), mountain climbing, and weight training.
